On January 12th, the exhibition “Metamorphoses in Ceramics” opened in Munich’s Galerie Handwerk. It is a fantastic compilation of 35 years of ceramics at Galerie Handwerk, making it an impressive collection of contemporary ceramics in Europe.
Since 1992, the “Galerie Handwerk” has started every year with an exhibition dedicated to ceramics. What makes this year special is that it is the last exhibition put together by Mr Wolfgang Lösche. As the long-time director of the gallery, he will retire in the middle of the year. The exhibition’s significance is noticeable; many exhibits have been brought from private collections and archives for the occasion. You can still admire them in the “Galerie Handwerk” until February 18th.
