The TE 70 QT Toploader has a volume of 70 litres and is a kiln from the TE-Q series suitable for temperatures to 1250°C.

The Quattro TE-Q series comprises two different series: models TE-QN and TE-QS in square design with 4-side heating and elements recessed into grooved bricks, and models TE 70 QT/QTS and 110 QT with 4-side heating and elements mounted on support rods.

Both designs are equipped with a high-quality 2-layer insulation structure that is fitted precisely into a very sturdy frame construction. The high-quality, two-colour industrial paint finish used on the frame turns the Quattro series into attractive ROHDE Toploaders. The in-frame ventilated lid and the use of galvanized steel sheet in the kiln casing provide effective protection against corrosion. Another feature of this series is the carefully manufactured kiln lid, as the round toploader it is provided with a pressure spring that allows easy opening of the lid.

Power supply with 230 V “Schuko” plug connector

The high-quality insulation allows the kiln to be fired safely at stoneware temperatures using a regular 230 V “Schuko” plug connector (3.6 kW).

The kiln is currently one of the most economical kilns on the market thanks to a unique, 2-layer insulation concept with a 35 mm microporous insulating board.

Gas pressure spring-supported opening mechanism for the lid

The sturdy lid construction is supported by gas pressure springs that allow easy, effortless and safe opening of the lid.

High-quality heating elements

With the heating elements made from "Kanthal A1" we attach great importance to a low surface load and a careful production. The heating elements are reliable and durable thanks to a sufficient reserve capacity in the calculation.

We only use high-quality Kanthal A1 wire for the heating elements. In addition to a solid calculation with sufficient power reserves, careful processing in the manufacture of the heating elements is crucial for long service life. This leads to reliable and highly efficient heating elements as well as low spare part costs.

3-year warranty

We produce each kiln by hand and keep to strict quality guidelines. Therefore, we offer a voluntary 36-months warranty to extend legal warranty regulations.
