In 1982, Helmut Rohde had a vision that was to revolutionise the world of ceramics. With his ideas and his love for the craft, he developed suitable solutions and added professionalism. Further developments followed relentlessly: further improvements to the kilns, the control systems and the firing processes. In the ceramics scene, the name ROHDE gained increasing importance and influence. Now, the company is one of the leading kiln manufacturers on the market and is more present on the scene than any other. With a lot of commitment and energy, the family business mingles with ceramists, local specialists and people who are just as passionate about ceramics. Promotion of young talent, training courses and seminars, events, trade fair appearances, and ceramics prizes: The range of contributions is as colourful and diverse as ceramic art itself.
The passion for ceramics and the technical expertise of Helmut Rohde live on today in the second generation. Together, they are implementing promising visions and leading the company into the future. This community and commitment make the difference and give the products their very special character and high quality.
We are happy about our history, the tradition and the many successes we have achieved in these 40 years with our family and employees.
