The annual pottery market in Diessen took place from May 18th to 21st, 2023, attracting an impressive number of up to 60,000 visitors over the long weekend. As always, the exhibiting potters showcased a diverse range of works, featuring everything from functional tableware to intricate sculptures, and from delicate porcelain to robust stoneware.
ROHDE, our company, proudly joined the event with a traditional stand, offering visitors a unique glimpse into our newest venture: the "New Ecotop Series." This special display highlighted the series' focus on sustainability, emphasizing features such as a 30% reduction in heat loss and enhanced energy efficiency.
In addition to our participation, we had the privilege of sponsoring the Diessen Ceramic Award this year. The esteemed prize, now valued at €5,000, was awarded to Ms. Youkyung Sin from Bad Ems, renowned for her exceptional porcelain creations. ROHDE gladly assumed the responsibility of sponsoring this prestigious accolade.
