After a longer break due to Corona, we were very pleased about the large number of participants at this year's English-language sales partner seminar.
A total of 17 trade partners from 5 countries made their way to our production facility in Dyjakovice to learn about the handcrafted production methods of our kilns as well as all the innovations and new products.After arriving at the hotel and a short round of introduction followed by dinner, the first exchange of information already took place.
On the second day, our tour through the production site started in two groups - led by Benjamin Rohde and Manuel Rohde.
We always follow the individual production steps in the factory:
From steel construction to brick lining and assembly of the electrical units to quality control and shipping.Our guests had ample opportunity to take a close look at the numerous individual production steps as well as the different materials and to learn about them. As in the past, our visitors were again very surprised by the fact that ROHDE Kilns are produced almost exclusively by hand. The production of our machines and devices as well as the manufacturing of the heating elements were of course also on the programme.
This day ended with a guided tour through local typical wine cellars (with wine tasting) followed by a pleasant stop for a light meal.
Friday was dedicated to the presentation of innovations and new products at ROHDE. Our heads of department Josef Wittmann (Research and Development) and Stefan Dickmann (Service & Support) presented various current projects.
Our very interested guests took the opportunity to have their questions about these forward-looking projects and topics answered comprehensively.
We would like to thank our ROHDE partners for taking on the sometimes very long journeys and for making the event a success with their positive attitude and we are sure that the detailed insights and knowledge they gained will not only be helpful but also convincing when giving advice.
