MakerSpace is a publicly accessible, 1500 m² high-tech workshop that gives members access to machines, tools, software, and a creative community.
The workshop is aimed at ambitious start-ups, Do-It-Yourself activists and company partners. MakerSpace provides a place to realize ideas and innovations in the form of prototypes and small batches. Various areas such as machine, metal and wood workshops, as well as textile and electrical corners are available. In addition, a 3D printer, laser cutter and a water jet cutting machine give the opportunity to create new shapes and to process a variety of materials.
Since the beginning of this year, 3 furnaces from ROHDE have been part of the extensive machine park. In addition to two hardening furnaces for the heat treatment in the metal workshop, we have provided a melting furnace to burn out wax moulds from the 3D printer.
