Over four days of the trade fair, from 20 to 23 September, more than 30,000 visitors from nearly 120 countries came to Düsseldorf to convince themselves about the innovative capability of the industry at Glasstec, the world's leading trade fair for the international glass industry.
ROHDE presented the innovative idea of the ROHDE myKiln App to their visitors - in addition to the classic glass and fusing furnaces. In the future, this will support users in the ceramic and glass sector in the creation of firing curves, as well as the monitoring and archiving of firing processes and make working with our furnaces even easier. The enthusiastic feedback from visitors to this user-friendly application has reaffirmed that we are on the right path with our step towards the digitization of firing processes.
Many other interesting and good discussions underscore the significance of the trade fair for us as well as the glass industry in general. Our trade fair team was supported throughout by our consultant, Detlef Tanz - a recognized specialist in the glass industry. So we were able to prove our know-how in the field of glass heat treatment once again in numerous discussions with interested trade fair visitors.
