Partnership with Cockpit Arts, the London business incubator

The award-winning business incubator, Cockpit Arts, has been supporting artists and small businesses since 1986 and currently houses more than 170 creative individuals in its studios in south London. In addition to the business premises and workshops, the artists are also provided with specialist advisers and financial advice.

In 2018, the institution will award its first grant for ceramists, the "Cockpit Arts Ceramic Residency", worth £ 5,000. The one-year program will help a selected ceramic artist expand their creativity and craft skills within the funding programme through experimentation and new approaches. The grant consists, among other things, of a studio in the Cockpit Arts Creative Community in London and support from the business incubator through e.g. special coaching and workshops.

Furthermore, ROHDE, in cooperation with the local specialist trade partners, supports the business incubator, thus making it possible to provide a ceramic kiln in addition to the grant. The selection process for the artists will be completed in October and we are very pleased to attend the launch of this exceptional promotion.
